On Friday 26th of June Facebook's share price dropped by 7% which is their largest drop since March! That's right. If you look at share prices from February to March you can see Facebook's prices drop from £178/$220 to £121/$150 (-13%) which in perspective is the same price as Facebook in 2016... This most recent drop though isn't really going to effect Facebook as it includes many large advertisers are now refusing to advertise (boycotting) Facebook now due to "misinformation and not doing enough to combat racism" on the platform. Because of these actions taken on Facebook, they will now not receive £2.6bn this month in advertising fees but are still projected to make between £4-6bn this month.
